In late 2004 we were contacted, via one of the Nordic groups that we belong to, by the Director of a call centre who needed Swedes and Danes for an upcoming project.
His business was outside of London and he had found that his usual suppliers couldn’t help him find the right people to staff a Scandinavian business to business research project.
We were able to help him – and that led us to wonder whether he was alone in finding it difficult to find staff with Nordic languages.
Within a month we had done our research, registered Nordic Staff as a business, built a basic web site and found our first five clients.
Since that time we have become suppliers to some of Europe’s best employers and placed many Nordic speakers in permanent jobs around Europe.
We also have a bespoke temporary staffing business supplying some of the UK’s more Nordic focussed research and shared service centres.
In true Nordic style we endeavour to simplify business processes by using cutting edge technology to achieve our goal but we never forget that recruitment is a people business.
