Brand Manager – Copenhagen – Immediate Interviews.
Our client is an international manufacturer with Worldwide licences for some of the best known brands in its sector.
They now need an experienced professional marketeer, fluent in Danish Or Swedish OR Norwegian & English, to take responsibility for a brand portfolio.
You will be based in the Nordic HQ which is in one of Copenhagen ‘s business districts.
To be the brand and consumer expert, inspire confidence with coaching and support from Senior Brand Manager and have excellent competitor knowledge on areas of relevance to their brands
Understand brand performance: listings, Rate of Sale (sell-in, sell-thru), media delivery.
Understand Global brand and product plans and any global research
Present plans and performance to licensors where appropriate.
Build an effective partnership with sales teams to ensure that brand objectives are achieved and influencing what happens in each retailer on brands.
Keep the wider business informed of brand activities and how they would be expected to affect forecasts.
Prepare and execute POS/POE, programming and catalogue requirements and ensure implementation of these.
Work alongside KAM’s and S&M Assistant on the delivery of key brand events during the year including feature wall and cross category events.
Develop strong relationships with key customers.
Develop local marketing plan for brands: media, consumer and retail promotions, events, in-store, online and PR.
Educated to degree level
Experience in a sales & marketing commercial/FMCG environment
Evidence of delivering effective plans, products and marketing communications programmes as part of a team.
Experience of creating & manipulating pricing and a profit and loss account (TLP)
Experience of writing and delivering effective presentations.
Project management experience
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Danish OR Swedish OR English and English
Ability to write effective briefs including ability to probe and challenge
Ability to evaluate effectiveness of plans and programmes
Evidence of ability to persuade and influence
Ability to interpret a media plan
