Role Purpose
The Swedish Web & Content Editor will be integral to the Creative team, and will be responsible for providing high quality copywriting services to the business and general support to the Creative Manager.
The first part of your career will in some ways be the most vital. You will have the main responsibility for building the Swedish version of the site from scratch.
Every word, every page, every link and every frame needs to be translated, edited, checked and tested. This site will become your baby and you?ll even be responsible for future social media activity to promote it.
On completion, you?ll be responsible for site maintenance, and also all copy and promotions. You?ll be marketing and creating new promotions and translating existing network promotions. You?ll liaise with CRM to create email campaigns for the Swedish market and you?ll research Swedish Bingo rivals and Swedish Bingo culture to put us at number 1 in the market.
The role will also involve building web pages within content management systems (CMS) and liaising with representatives from all the marketing channels in order to generate strong creative concepts and ideas culminating in the delivery of accurate and effective production across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting, proofing and delivering content for Interactive online (email campaigns, web pages, blogs, social media) and offline marketing activities (print work, magazine ads, flyers, editorials, TV advertising, etc.)
Responsible for the organization and delivery of strong and dynamic copywriting content from conception through to final production. This will involve researching and writing creative concepts, working from an initial brief to final sign off.
Co-ordination & management of content translation via a third party.
Building, editing and maintaining effective web pages in a CMS according to the relevant requirements brief.
Authoring and editing promotional materials tailored toward for specific departments for the company.
Ensuring the effective maintenance of client websites and retaining an overall awareness of all on-going projects.
Researching and keeping up to date with the latest industry trends.
Ensure all promotional copy is optimized for best practice (ie: up to date terminology,
anti-spam.)
Liaising with other disciplines within the Creative team to achieve the correct, coordinated solution to a problem.
Organization and maintenance of the creative editorial library, involving the coordination all files, requests, reports, statistics, creative and copy for all campaigns.
Social media activity on Facebook, Twitter and relevant industry blogs to promote our brands across all mediums.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Educated to degree/HND level in a relevant discipline or have relevant experience (references required) in a similar role.
The candidates should poses excellent proofing and copywriting skills and have a clear understanding of the proper use of grammar.
Basic skills and experience of html mark-up is essential.
Fluent in English as well as Swedish.
Strong previous experience of working with CMS systems, editorial software (In-Design, Quark, or similar) and html editing software (Dreamweaver).
Previous experience working with email marketing software is (Silver pop, Email Vision, Right Now, Return Path or similar).
The candidate should be creative and adaptable, and able to take on a variety of different tasks at the same time and deliver at a fast pace.
Able to communicate effectively in written and email correspondence.
Have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to explain complex information simply and clearly.
Have the ability to plan and organise individual duties and responsibilities.
Retain and acquire industry knowledge through regular competitor analysis.
Work effectively with other members of the Creative Team.
Promote a vibrant and positive working environment.
Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
Have at least 2 years? experience in online gaming or similar industry.
Have an awareness of web standards and accessibility.
Have an awareness of usability and search engine optimisation principles.
Actively look to further their knowledge through training and experience.
