Our client is a major International online publisher that has recently launched into the Danish market and now requires an Editor for the Danish web site.
Now is a very exciting time to join this team as, with current online community of 35 million, your skills are needed to help with the success of the Danish web site.
To be considered as a great candidate for this role you will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:
Degree in Journalism, Communications, or the equivalent
2 years experience in editing and/or writing original Danish content for a publication or web site
Exceptional attention to detail, grammar and logical story construction
An eye for strong design photography
Knowledge of effective online content distribution methods and social networking tools is preferred
Fluent Danish, business level English required
Outline Job Description:
Form an editorial strategy together with the Editor-in-Chief to make this Danish web site the go-to website for the Danish target market.
Edit articles from staff and contributors, working with authors to revise content according to our client’s standards for accuracy, authority, relevance and readability.
Produce a high volume of quality original content that Danish readers will bookmark and share.
Closely engage with U.S. and global counterparts to understand standards for quality and engagement.
Coach staff and freelance writers, working with them to evaluate and edit their articles for logic, flow, formatting, active voice and reader service.
