We are currently looking for a Swedish speaking person, with strong skills within finance and significant management experience, to head up this part of our clients business.
Challenging and varied, this hands-on role encompasses all areas of accounting as well as specific project work and responsibility for advising clients on a range of business decisions. Specifically, you will work with a team of financial controllers and advisers to deliver a set of robust and compliant processes and procedures – from budget through to management reporting and liaising with accountants and external advisers. You will also provide our clients’ senior management with support and analysis on all planning, forecasting and financial control issues, and will design systems for capturing, processing and reporting financial information.
You will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar capacity, probably as a consultant or in a senior financial position for a medium sized firm. You must be fluent in Swedish and have a good understanding of both UK and Swedish accounting regulations, as well as the cross-cultural challenges and barriers facing Nordic countries moving into the UK market.
Fluent in Swedish (mother tongue) and English
Strong skills within bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting and financial control/administration from a UK perspective.
Experience of servicing private companies requirements, preferably within a professional services firm
Good commercial awareness, hands on technical and team building skills, and back up to fee earners.
