Our client is a City based independent marine underwriting agent, providing cover in all areas of marine insurance but specifically yacht insurance. They have a growing book of European business, together with a large book of UK risks.
Having previously worked predominantly through other brokers in Scandinavia in recent years, they are now concentrating on expanding direct business opportunities this region.
The company has a specific product for the Danish market that is written in Danish and is subject to Danish law. They also currently employ a Danish speaker, who handles any Danish enquiries /clients.
In order to build on current success the business is now searching for an ambitious Sales and Marketing Manager.
To grow and develop visibility in Denmark both directly with the yacht owning public and via producers, i.e. yacht brokers, chandleries, etc.
You will be reliable articulate and most importantly, fluent in both Danish English. You will have a logical mind with an eye for development opportunities. The role would be ideally suited to someone with previous experience of B2C marketing as well as digital marketing. Knowledge of the insurance industry would be preferable but not essential. Ability to also speak other Scandinavian languages would be an advantage.
Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to generate yacht enquiries from Denmark. The strategy must incorporate digital and conventional marketing techniques. The role will be based in London but regular travel to Denmark will be required.
Bilingual – fluent in both Danish English
